Jamie Wheeler

I have worked extensively as a director and teacher and as a designer and maker in both theatre and broadcast media.

 

As a designer, I have designed and made costumes and props for music videos for artists including Band of Skulls, Feeder, Gabrielle Aplin, Kate Nash, Kodaline and Paul Weller. I have also designed websites, production posters and various print media.

 

Alongside this work, I have worked for over 12 years in casting, specialising in commercials and short films. 

 

I started acting as a child,  making (very brief!) appearances in lots of Granada TV productions. I started a theatre company with some friends and this ultimately led me to study at East 15 Acting School.

 

I think the depth of variety and experience I have means that all my areas of expertise complement each other and as I have extensive and current industry experience, I can talk from both a practical and theoretical standpoint.

I am also a graduate of the MA Actor Training & Coaching course at Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.
